Magical Journeys

Just wanted to let you all know how great Magical Journeys is! We just used them to book our Disney Cruise for October. This was the first travel agency we have used since 2001 and we will definitely be using them in the future! Special thanks to Debbie from MJ for all her help!

I'm going to probably get a lot of hate mail because of this....but I just used Magical Journeys and I could not have been more disappointed.

I won't go into reasons on the boards as not to "bash" them in a public. If anyone wants details, e-mail me.

It's all is how you like to plan. IF you like to be in total control, then do it yourself. I didn't get any of those "discounts" that everyone talks about...so for me, Magical Journeys was of no assistance.

I booked through Magical Journeys and am very happy! We didn't get big discounts, but it was not because Elaine didn't look. They were just not there. But, she did give me all the AAA options (they just weren't there for what we wanted), options for 5 people at different resorts, ect.. I found her very helpful and she always responded to my questions SUPER fast. [img]graemlins/clappy.gif[/img]

Yes they are great I just booked with them again. Karen was very nice and helpful. Now all I will do is wait for a possible discount to come out. Lets pray they do start coming soon. I am sorry that you had a bad experience. As Holbear said....if the discounts are not released by Disney, there is not much anyone can do...whether you are in control or not. We try to assist our clients with making vacation planning decisions to maximize their fun. Many clients look to us for advice, money saving tips and suggestions about their itineraries in addition to monitoring for discounts.

I LOVE MAGICAL JOURNEYS!!! WooHoo! Nanci just came through for me once again!

Nanci booked me at AKL Concierge July 20-25 months ago with AAA rate. AP rates were released and only saved me $6 a night but I was happy becuase I wanted concierge.

So, yesterday as I was on Starwood website for an L.A. trip I realize Swan and Dolphin are Starwood resorts and I emailed Nanci to see what price she can get me for a Club Level room at either resort.

Nanci just returned today from a trip to Japan, got my email and saved me $115 a night for Club Level at The Swan over AP rate for AKL Concierge! HOORAY!!! I'm not only saving $575 I'll be at an EPCOT resort with all the ammenities and earning Starwood points!

I am so excited I had to share how hard the MJ staff works and their high level of professionalism. It certainly was not MJ's fault AP rates were so low but Nanci sure got me a deal I couldn't even get myself on Starwood website!

So, I want to take this moment to thank everyone at MJ for their dedication and HARD work to give us the best vacations at the best prices available!

Just 59 days to a much better WDW vacation than I expected!!!

We have 3 future trips booked with Wendy at Magical Journeys. She has been informitive, helpful, full of knowledge and extremely patient since I am a very indecisive person [img]graemlins/shakehead.gif[/img] At this time we have one trip booked with a pin # discount and the other two with AAA discounts. I know that if an AP rate or any other discount comes along that Wendy is on top of it!!! She'll apply the discount before I even know it exists! She has total control of the situation.

Another big thumbs up for Wendy and Magical Journeys!! I currently have 3 trips booked with them as well, and Wendy has been patient and thorough with each and every one of my requests, changes, indecisive moments, etc.

Again, IF there is a discount code out there that applies to you, the ladies at Magical Journeys will find it and apply it to your reservation. I used to love making my own reservations, being in total control, and obsessively planning my own WDW vacations. Not anymore!! Magical Journeys finds out about discounts and usually has them applied before all of us even know about it. And no waiting on hold long distance for me. I'd rather spend my time doing other things!

I have been working with Wendy from MJ and couldn't be more pleased. She has patiently helped us through several changes and some ups and downs. Her return call times to my e-mails amazed me. Usually I'd send an e-mail with a question and my phone would ring seconds later.

THis was my first time using MJ or a company that I couldn't go to in person. I highly recommend Wendy and MJ.

I just wanted to give my praise as well. Karen has been so helpful. She helped me with my vacation in January and is now helping with 2 more. She has changed my reservations numerous times without complaint. She has gone out of her way to help me with my vacation. We have always booked right with Disney. Are there any savings or advantages to book with MJ? I am new to the intercot site. My brother joined last year and I finally joined b/c there is alot of info at the site and I really enjoy it. We went 2003 & 2004 most recently and plan on going back Oct 2006. Can I just call MJ and see what they have to offer?

I've always done my own too so it was a huge leap of faith for me to trust someone else. MJ makes all the phone calls, keeps on top of the discounts and looks out for you. It saves time, and can save money. Wendy made quite a few suggestions that helped me out. I feel like I don't have to keep checking things every day because I know she's watching out for discounts.

I did get lucky and got the free dining pin. Wendy changed our reservations immediately.

You should go to the MJ site listed under sponsors and fill in a quote form if you're interested. Wendy e-mailed me shortly after I filled one out.
