We once forgot our recharger for our digital camera. D'OH! We had a day and a half of pictures on the digital, but we had to go to disposable cameras after than. Luckily we had brought some from home for the water parks etc. so we wouldn't have to take the "good" camera.

i know someone who forgot his wife......was so excited he packed up the car while she was at work, finished packing, turned off everything in the house and then got in the car and went.

he was on the jersey turnpike when his wife called to tell him she was so excited about going to disney she decided to get out of work early.......

    oops.

he turned right around and booked it back home.

to see her face when he pulled intot he driveway........ah, priceless.

That is such a good idea. I will do mine that way this year.

It's not a horrible thing to forget but I am notorious for forgetting to pack socks!!! I can't tell you how many pair of Disney socks I have in my drawers from various vacations. Now whenever we go anywhere my DH ALWAYS asks me about 20 times...DID YOU PACK SOCKS? ARE YOU SURE!

You could also use the glad plastic storage containers. I use those containers to transport pretzels, cereal, etc. They don't get crushed that way. And it is easier to pack.
