    Default Galveston itineraries? 2018?

    Hello,

Way up here in Western Canada, we are almost closer to Houston/Galveston, so we have been intrigued by the itineraries heading out of Galveston.

I notice the last sailing from Galveston is late January 2017. Does it always stick to this seasonal rotation?

    Thanks,

    JS

There is no set rotation when it comes to the "specialty" ports like Galveston or New York City. Until they announce 2018 sailings we will not know.

Sorry, I know that is not much help!

I think they skipped a year on the NYC cruises, not sure about the Galveston port. Disney likes to mix things up, with such a small fleet, they need to alternate ports to keep repeat cruisers happy.

Yes, they did skip a year with NYC and who knows when we will see it again. They had pulled out of Galveston early last time they were there and we knew they had to complete the contract, which is what they are doing. I am sure if they fill the ships, we will see them porting there again.

Plus in 5 more years we will be seeing new ships that will need home ports.

I would love to see them do Baltimore or New Orleans as a port as well.
