    Default backstage magic tour

    Hello:

I am currently in the planning stages of going back to my home away from home! I am going for 6 days, and I am spending 4 individual days at each park, but I still have at least 1 day free (Im using one to go to Universal).

As a result I looked at doing the keys to the kingdom tour, but then I saw that they have the backstage magic tour as well! My question..at over $200 is it worth the cost?

We just did the Keys to The Kingdom Tour this past fall, but have never done the Backstage Magic Tour. However after doing tour A, we are interested in doing tour B. My only thought is that you may get some overlap between the smaller, shorter tour and the longer multi-park tour. So you may do the Backstage Magic and feel that you've already seen everything that might be covered on Key to the Kingdom. Maybe that's your goal is to get the most bang for your buck. But we were glad to learn some and are now interested in learning more. It gives us more to experience next time. Good luck with whatever you choose. I'm sure it will be awesome either way. We've been to WDW plenty of times and knew some of "the stuff," but certainly learned a lot too...well worth it!

the only repeats of the backstage tour will be at MK, in the utilidors, otherwise it will all be different and interesting and you get a meal at whispering canyon. Depending on your host is how well your tour will be, just got back and had one and it was great I think well worth the money

I did the Backstage Magic tour this past May. I had been wanting to go for years, but could not convince others in the family to invest that much time or money.

In short, I was somewhat disappointed. I believe that Sorcerer Fan is correct that this depends heavily on the tour guide. I enjoyed some of the behind the scenes information, but not enough for the price. The visit to the Animal Kingdom was pointless and appeared to be just there to say that the tour hit all four parks. The heavily advertised view behind the scenes of The American Adventure was a small back corner in the dark with very little view of the actual show or workings.

The tour was something that needed to be checked off my bucket list, but i did not feel it was worth the money.

    .
Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
