Arrow Holidays at the Disneyland Resort 11/13/15-01/06/16

Halloweentime is winding down at the Disneyland Resort. It's time to get ready for the holidays, starting November 13, 2015 and running through January 6, 2016.

The holidays deliver extra dazzle this year as they combine their merriment with the shimmering of the Diamond Celebration.

Holiday time at the Disneyland Resort has become an annual tradition for many guests and this year the excitement of the Diamond Celebration adds to the holiday excitement throughout the resort.
Sleeping Beauty Castle and Carthay Circle Theatre bring extra glitter to the season with diamond highlights on their facades.
DLR holiday traditions include Christmas trees in Town Square and Buena Vista Street, along with visits by Santa Claus, and holiday food and merchandise items.

    At Disneyland:
A Christmas Fantasy Parade, a Disneyland holiday treasure, presents Mickey, Minnie, and an array of Disney characters celebrating the holiday season. This parade which includes Santa Claus bringing jolly holiday wishes from the North Pole will be featured during the daytime. After dark, the Diamond Celebration Paint the Night Parade will bring its own brand of glittering magic with spectacular floats, dazzling special effects, and more than 1.5 million brilliant LED lights.
Disneyland Forever is the immersive fireworks spectacular including pyrotechnics, projections, and original music. There are viewing locations throughout Disneyland.
it’s a small world Holiday offers a worldwide celebration of the season, with more than 300,000 twinkling lights on the façade. Inside the dolls are dressed in holiday attire and sing holiday songs as well as the classic “It’s a Small World After All”.
Haunted Mansion Holiday presents “The Nightmare Before Christmas” characters and their story of what happens when two holidays collide. Continuing an annual tradition, a new gingerbread house is created for the ballroom each year.
Jingle Cruise, a 2014 addition, returns to take adventurous guests on a fun-filled expedition. Discover a cargo of holiday gifts and decorations that have been jettisoned over the jungles of the Jungle Cruise attraction in Adventureland.

    At Disney California Adventure:
World of Color will be presenting two versions of its water show during the Holiday season. The holiday-themed show World of Color – Winter Dreams features Olaf the snowman along with classic winter scenes from Disney and Disney*Pixar films. For the Diamond Celebration, World of Color – Celebrate pays tribute to Walt Disney. Check the park schedule for the show times.
Disney ¡Viva Navidad! is a daily celebration of Latino culture and holiday traditions with music, dancing, vibrant colors, and delicious food. Several Disney characters join the lively fun.
Olaf’s Snow Fest celebrates its return to Hollywood Land with Olaf, the snowman from “Frozen”. Stage 17 is transformed into a charming castle courtyard inspired by the kingdom of Arendelle. Join in the fun in a giant wintry play area with real snow or observe the fun from the nearby viewing area. Music and storytelling will also be presented.
Cars Land residents have decorated their Radiator Springs locations to reflect their individual personalities. Enjoy the variety beginning with the snowcar at the entrance and continuing down the road past Fillmore’s Taste-In, the Cozy Cone Motel, Flo’s V8 Café, and more.
a bug’s land has also joined in the festive spirit of the season. Flik and his buddies have decorated with giant Christmas lights and holiday ornaments.

    In Downtown Disney:
Downtown Disney Winter Village offers shoppers holiday gift items sold from the windows of charming village houses.
Olaf’s Frozen Ice Rink offers a break from the shopping with a real ice rink for skating.

    At the Disneyland Resort Hotels:
    • The Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Pier Hotel, and Grand Californian Hotel join in the holiday festivities with twinkling lights, decorated trees, and holiday dining with themed menus.

Both theme parks offer expanded hours on some days, extending the family fun and allowing more time for guests to enjoy all there is to see and do at the Disneyland Resort.

This is excellent news for me! We are currently booked to be in Disneyland on Jan. 3-8! Does anyone know if the nighttime holiday entertainment happens every night?

The Christmas Fantasy parade is daily. And yes, the Paint the Night parade and Disneyland Forever fireworks are also nightly, as is World of Color. Disneyland has been granted special permission from the city of Anaheim to do nightly fireworks for the 60th anniversary celebration.

Thanks Natalie! As you may recall we have been trying to get to Disneyland for a few years now. Hopefully this is the year nothing gets in the way and I don't have to cancel as I have in the past!

Hope it all goes as planned! I know how frustrating that is. Would love to meet you when you are here. Drop me a PM closer to the trip!
