20% Coupons

The last time we were in WDW around christmas we got 20% off coupons good for some of the shops on our quick service receipts. Does anyone know if they still do these?

Only at the absolute busiest times of the year.

We got them in December of 2013. We went in early December when crowds were lower.

Came in handy for some more expensive items that we purchased!

I have only seen them from the Electric Umbrella at Epcot. You usually have to use them at World of Disney before a certain time of day if I recall.

I've gotten the coupon from Columbia Harbor House around Thanksgivings. Going again this Thanksgiving and hoping to get it again! I had to use it before noon I believe. We got to the main store in MK in the morning, shopped for everyone, had it sent back to the room and then went and enjoyed our day. Happy shopping.

Why would they do this during the busiest time of the year? That makes no sense

They want to spread the guests around when it's busy--the coupons drive guests to the stores in the mornings, a time when the stores are otherwise quiet.

I've gotten the coupon on trips in the week leading up to Christmas and also near Easter.
