No Meet & Greet's Planned for Inside Out Characters

Despite announcing a Inside Out Pre-Parade for Disney California Adventure and Characters appearing at the film's premier, Character Cast and a Disney Communications Manager have confirmed there are currently no Meet & Greet plans for Inside Out characters Joy and Sadness.

Shawn Slater (Communications Manager, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Creative Entertainment) has announced the following through the Official Disney Parks Blog:

The Emotions will only be appearing as part of {the Pixar Play Parade} special pre-parade. There are no plans for them to participate in character greetings at this time.

There are no plans at this time for the characters to appear in person at Walt Disney World Resort.

Plans could change; however, it appears likely Guests will need to catch the Pixar Play Parade Pre-Parade at Disney California Adventure from June 19th through Summer 2015 to get a guaranteed glimpse of Joy and Sadness.

Phooey! That could have been a fun meet & greet.

I guess we all get used to it ... a new movie comes out, and we get the characters for a bit. Just think, there could have a been a great tie in with some activities in the queue, etc.
