golf cart parking questions

Hi folks!
We are staying at the Campground this coming fall and will most likely rent a golf cart for the week. My question is about parking the golf carts.

Is there places where you can park your golf cart at:
1) the boat launch to the MK
2) the bus station
3) near the pools
4) near Trails End and that area

Also, do the golf carts have to stay on the Campground property only or is Wilderness lodge accessible via golf cart? And, if not, how long of a walk is it to Wilderness Lodge?

There is parking near all this places you ask about, as well as charging stations for electric carts.

I don't think they allow driving golf carts to Wilderness Lodge. They use to, and folks were parking and pool hopping. (My mother was one of them)

There is a path through the woods - to and from Wilderness Lodge. If you're going to walk it, I would suggest only doing so during daylight hours - it gets mighty dark along that path after dark. I've taken carriage rides along the path but have never walked it myself. I'm guessing it would take 20-30 minutes to do the walk. Otherwise, bus or boat between the two.

The trail from Fort Wilderness to Wilderness Lodge was a piece of my morning run a few weeks ago, and looking at my RunKeeper, I would guess it's a bit over a mile from the bus stop near Trails End to the bus stop at the lodge.

Of course if you're wore out from hiking the parks, you can always park the cart at the docks and hitch a ride on the boat.
