    Default Unused FP+s?

This may seem like a silly question, but we're headed to the World in four sleeps and I wanted to ask...

We have made our three FP+ reservations per day, but I suspect that on the day we are at DHS we may not use the third (DS is only four, so he's not ready for many of the "big" rides and wants to do a lot of the Frozen stuff). If we end up not using a FP+ reservation on a given day, is that a problem?

    Thanks!

It's only a problem if you want more FP+. You have to actually use (not let time expire) those initial 3 FP in order to be eligible to get another FP, unless something has changed very recently with this. I sure wish it would, because I think it's silly.

Otherwise, there shouldn't be any problem with not using a FP.

    Cool

It is my understanding that you had to use OR the time had to expire in order to get another FastPass in either THAT Park or ANOTHER Park, but now ONLY one at a time. Is this not process now you FastPass+ Specialist?

That's why I said, unless it's recently changed. I do know when they first started offering the additional FP (beyond your original 3), that you did have to USE all three, as reported by members here. Hopefully someone will be along with current info.

It's correct that you can only get one more at a time though.

And there is no way to just flat out cancel one, right? We are getting there late one day, and just want to grab a FP for one ride, but it makes you pick three. If you just pick one, then it assigns you two more....we feel bad filling FP slots that others could use.

My experience was that I could change, but not cancel.

I would not feel too bad about not using the FPs that you don't want for two reasons.

    1) If Disney assigned the FP+ to you, they are trying to drive guest to that attraction, meaning it is not as popular as some of the other attractions. (For example I was assigned a FP+ for Living with the Land at 9:30am, personnally I have never seen a line for "Living with the Land" that early in the morning.)

    2) Trying to be a glass half full type of guy, look at it as freeing up space on the attraction for people in the Standby line.
