    Default BOG Lunch FP+ Question

We just got our invite to BOG Lunch FP+ yesterday (25 days from arrival) and chose an expeditied arrival reservation w/o meal choices for now. We actually have another party going with us and they got the same invite and we only have a 10 min difference in our arrival windows so that worked out really great

We couldn't do the direct to table option or food choices yesterday just do to logistics of not being able to huddle up with everyone to discuss, but my question is really are there any disadvantages to doing the expedited arrival vs. the direct to table. It seemed like there was the ability still to change and even can make meal selections while keeping the expedited arrival option? I just dont' want to get stuck on any major line inside the restaurant if we can avoid it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I have always done the expedited arrival and it works very well. IN most cases you go directly the the ordering kiosks. There may be a few minute wait until a kiosk frees but I don't recall ever waiting more than 5 minutes for one with the FP.

Expedited- you skip the line and go right in to order

Direct to table- you pick your meals on line. You then skip the line and the ordering process and go to the tables and then they bring the food you pre-ordered.

I wondered that too yesterday when I logged in to try to get FPs for it. (I was too early) But it had the two options and I had not heard about the two options and wondered what the difference was. I think we will wait and order our meal there because we really don't know what we would be in the mood for until that day.

    Cool BOG FastPass options

Just a note: If you choose to go "direct to table" and you have pre-order your meals, you have the ability to change your order before you are seated at one of the kiosk stations if someone changes their minds.

We ordered online from home. I usually order for my kids anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. My husband looked over his options and we chose our lunch, beverages, and desserts. As the previous post said, you can modify your order when you get to the restaurant. My DD wanted to add the French Onion soup and was able to do so. I did notice that there was a line to order if you hadn't ordered online from home. It looked busy, like most of the other lines at the CS restaurants at lunch time. I'm not sure of how long the wait was, but we really liked being able to bypass the ordering line and go straight to our table once we paid.

You get into the building fast with the FP+. I didn't preorder food for my daughter. Wasn't sure how hungry we will be so might just split a sandwich. If you go direct to table you will miss some fun areas to look around inside the castle. You get to walk past the suits of armor (that talk) and see the room where the Beast meets with guests at night. The details are amazing.
