    Default Bedding/Recliner options POFQ

Have an unusual question. My husband has been having some shoulder and hip issues for the last several months and has been having to sleep in his recliner to be comfortable.

Our next trip is in September and he is concerned about the bedding in POFQ as last year when we went, the beds were not as comfortable as they had been (very hard) and it caused the pain in his shoulder to be worse.

Are there any options we can explore as far as bedding or recliner rental. Or does Disney offer any options as well? We are staying again in our beloved POFQ for 8 nites.

As always, thanks for any info.

I'm sorry your husband is so sore!

If you really want a recliner, there are a couple of places that seem to rent the lifting recliner seats (I googled renting a medical recliner at Disney). I haven't used any of the results, so can't promise, but some have pretty good reputations.

Would some additional padding on the bed make a difference? Maybe a matress pad, either shipped from home or purchased (and it may be cheaper). I've heard of some people getting "egg" foam from Disney for their beds, but again I haven't tried it myself.

A recliner would be a tight bit, but you could ask them to remove the table and chairs if needed (or be sure to book a king room, the single bed makes a big difference).

I think you may want to contact Disney directly and ask them. I don't know if they would let you bring in furniture from an outside source or they may have a company they deal with. They've already starting restricting what scooter companies can drop off.

Hope it works out for you and DH feels better soon.
