    Default Costco Package

Planning 10 day trip to Swan through Costco but Costco packages only have 7 day tickets. Does anyone know if you can upgrade the 7 day ticket to a 10 day when you arrive at Disney?

All tickets are supposed to be upgradeable before they are used up. Unless there is some unusual. Deal on this Costco package. You can go to guest services and add days, park hopping, water oark options etc.

Any valid expiring MYW ticket that has not been already upgraded to the maximum 10 days can be upgraded to that 10 day maximum.

Valid tickets are expiring tickets with days left on them that are still within the 14 day from first use window.

I do not believe that non-expiring tickets can be upgraded other than to an Annual Pass (if that.)

One qualifier: Use the ticket at least once before upgrading. That way, if there have been any increases in ticket pricing, you will get the "current" (day-of-upgrade) value of the ticket you hold against the full cost of the upgraded ticket.

For example: If you bought a 5 day expiring MYW ticket today and the ticket price jumped $50 prior to your trip there are two scenarios - 1) If you upgrade prior to using the ticket at least once, you would have to pay the extra $50 as well as the difference between the 5 day cost at purchase time and the current cost of the "new" ticket....or 2) If you use the ticket at least once to enter a park, the upgrade price would use the current ticket price as the base for upgrading -- you would save $50!

Very strange the way they figure it, but that is just the way it works out.
