    Default Best Pool?

What is your favorite themed pool? We have only stayed in the moderate resorts so there are many I haven't experienced as of yet. We like the pool at CBR. It seems to be a little deeper than the others main pools we have been to. The dark slide is fun too.

I'm interested to see if there is a fan favorite...

Even tho it's a moderate resort, one of my kids favorite pools on property has been CBR. They loved the pirate theme when they were a bit younger. Now that they are getting older I don't think the pools matter as much, but they still enjoy CBR.

We have also really enjoyed Stormalong Bay at BC/YC. Actually I have enjoyed this pool more now that the kids are older. It was a bit spread out for me when they were younger and wanted to go in different directions. Even though it's sort of considered the area for smaller kids we all love the sand bottom area of this pool.

Stormalong Bay is my favorite too though I also really like the pool and Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I also really like the water play area at the Kidani section of AKL.

Another Yacht/Beach Club vote! No question about it for me. Love the sand bottom.

Are you asking which themed pool is the best, or which pool is themed the best?

The best pool is Stormalong Bay. This might be unanimous.

But for pool that is themed the best, I'll go with Wilderness Lodge.

To actually swim in we love the pool at All Star Sports . It is big and you can do laps early in the morning.

Best pool to relax and soak up the theme- WL hands down. It is so relaxing hanging in the water watching the gyser go off or even going over to the quiet pool with the bubbling water.

Best all around pool- Stormalong bay. It is awesome in every way.

The Wilderness Lodge pool is awesome...but I may be partial since I worked there. Bay Lake Tower is a great pool, also. I think one of the best pools however is Yacht & Beach. Personally, I have the fondest memories of working the old Fort Wilderness pool at twilight when it was quiet and the sound of the Native American music would drift around the pool with the smell of the campfires going.

Hard to choose as most Disney resort pools are themed well and have there own unique charms. We have experienced POLY, WL, Y&BC, CBR, POR, POFQ and a few of the Values....we have also walked/observed CR and GF on recent trips. would say toss-up between Stormalong and WL - and wouldn't mind being poolside at either right now! If part of the remodeling at POLY involves expanding the pool area that may be impressive. Also liked the look and feel of CS when we stopped there when leaving a few trips back. The CS pool, it is large and right along the water but theming is kinda non-existent there.

Agreed. The sand bottom pool might seem like a gimmick until you're in it. Then its fantastic. And a lazy river to boot? Heck yes. And multiple hot tubs. And waterfalls. And a long waterslide.

We have never swam in the WL pool, but we love to walk out and check out the themeing.

Of the pools we've done, I like Coronado. The Jaguar slide is really cool, and I just love the Temple waterfall. Excellent!!!
