What is your favorite location at POR?

For some reason I think of the bridge over the canal. I love watching the boats pass under, and the people cross over on their way to something fun.

For my room? We've stayed in building #18, and we loved it (right next to the quiet pool, a short walk to the main building/bus stop but with less foot traffic than other close buildings) and Oak Manor (also loved it, with the short walk across the bridge) and pool right there. But, we did find that we felt more "detached" from the rest of the resort than when we were in building #18.

To hang out? I love sitting by the huge windows in the food court ... while eating an order of make-your-own-pasta.

Mansions - Oak Manor for theming and updated rooms. It is a little bit of a walk to the food court for breakfast though.

Alligator Bayou - Building 16 for easy location to food / main bus stop.

But my favorite spot is in the food court where you can get the hand scooped ice cream. I got a multi-scoop topping smothered bowl from there late one night and walked back to the room with it ( Oak Manor ). I was wearing half of it when I got there, but it was delicious!

We prefer Alligator Bayou. Not sure of building number, just love the general feel of that part of the resort.

I love the AB section, specifically bldg 14 or 18. Those are the only two buildings we've ever stayed in and we've been there many, many times. I like 18 because it has the best quiet pool and 14 as it's the absolute closest to the main bus depot. Riverside is an incredible place no matter where you find yourself.

We like buildings 80 and 85. Love the mansion sections.

I love being deep in the bayou, facing water if possible. One of my favorite things is taking the long, winding walk through the plush foliage, over the bridge and across the Sassagoula, on our way to the courtyard for breakfast.
