Default going in May - pool weather?

I would love feedback from anyone that has been to WDW in May! Is it warm enough for pool days or still kinda chilly (chilly to me is in the 60s)? Just wondering what to expect more-less for early May. I know it's hard to predict but would love to hear your experiences!

    Thanks all!

It's been quite a few years, but when we had gone in May it was definetly pool weather! I believe the average temp is in the 80's and since all the pools are heated, it will be warm enough. Have fun!

We've been in December and the pools were packed, you'll probably be fine in May and the main pools are heated

    Yes, pool weather!

The days were quite warm, perfect for swimming. A couple of the nights were a bit more chilly, but the pools are heated and there will be lots of people swimming.

It's pool weather now in Florida. It'll be hot in May. Enjoy.

Depends on the year as far as temps. I've had highs in the mid 90s in May and highs in the upper 70s (upper 80s and low 90s are more common), but definitely pool weather.

Anything above 75 degrees is pool weather for me!! We've often found May to already be quite hot and humid and have never had a problem spending a day at the pool in the month of May.

We went once in May. That was the best weather we ever had. Plenty warm enough for the pool. I think mid-80's all wee. We didn't even see a drop of rain that week. It was a perfect week!!! Enjoy..

    Default May

Last time we were there in May it was in the 90s all week. We were in the pool more than we expected to be.

Awesome - good to hear it will be warm! We were there in January and it was "unseasonably" cold and in the 40s. I wore a hat & mittens the whole week. Coming down from NY, that was NOT what I was looking for! Glad to know it may be pool weather this next trip!

Three out of four trips were in May. It gets HOT. Our last May trip (2012) it was always around 90 degrees. A mid day swim is a necessity!

Absolutely! And really, I've been at all times of the year, and I have seen people in the pools at 11 at night when I personally would skip it, so you should have no problem esp. since they're heated

Steph - All of our trips with the exception of two have been during the month of May and I promise you it gets HOT. The majority of days will have highs in the mid 80's up to the low 90's. There will be a much higher probability of thundershower than in earlier months of the year, but you just "poncho up" and keep going. You'll be looking for a pool this I promise!!!

We plan to spend more time at the resort than usual this next trip, so I am glad to hear it will be nice enough to lounge by the pool!! We just went through a blizzard up here so now I can't wait!!!!
