Default Getting groceries for the Dolphin

What is the easiest and closest location to pick up some milk and juice if we are staying at the Dolphin? We will not have a car. Is there a convenience store we could get a cab to within a 5 minute drive? Thanks!

Thre is a store at Boardwalk that carries these items - you'll pay a higher price than off-site but it will be less expensive than taking a cab. Boardwalk is just a short walk from the Dolphin. The Beach Club also has a store that carries such items - any of the Disney resorts that also have vacation club units have stores that carry basic grocery items.

It will be a decent walk but if you don't want to pay higher prices, and all you are getting are small items like you mentioned. I would walk through the main lobby of the Boardwalk, come out of the main entrance, walk down the driveway and across the street to the Hess. It's not as long of a walk as it sounds, you will pay normal prices and get more bang for your buck. When we had to purchase a small container of juice at the Screen Door (the store Faline mentioned on the Boardwalk) we paid twice the amount I ended up paying when I bought another one of the same exact juices a few days later when we got to the Hess (and mind you it was only one of those one serve minute maid juices). Screen door was I think around $3.19. Bought it at Hess for half the price.

They even have items at the Hess like wine and beer if you want some adult beverages for your room. We usually get snack items like bags of chips, crackers they even sell cereal and such.

Thanks so much for the information. We may be arriving much later than anticipated tomorrow due to the lovely snow storm we are having in New York today. If so we may be able to pick up perishable items on our drive from the airport. A friend is picking us up and offered to stop at a supermarket. It was going to be too early to get into our room, so the perishable items were going to be a problem. My biggest concern is just getting to Orlando from New York in the morning. Keeping my fingers crossed that we at least get there sometime tomorrow!

Pecabo also has some of these items in the Dolphin, and they are open 24/7.

Strollers and Groceries, an INTERCOT sponsor, is another option.
