2015 WDW Marathon Weekend - Interest?

Just wanted to start a thread gauging interest in next year's WDW Marathon Weekend. Registration is coming up in April, and we'd love to see a huge #runICOT turnout, since so much fun was had by all at our inaugural meet.

My hubby and I have been throwing out scenarios for a week or so now, and he's decided to do the Dopey again, and I'm going to train...gasp....for the 10K. We're IN!

Anyone else?

Hmmm... I'm at a definite "maybe".
Nothing concrete yet. I've got a couple more trips this year to get through and then I'll start thinking about 2015. But it would definitely be fun!!!

I'm not surprised if there are a lot of maybes.

I should throw in a huge disclaimer though - our plans are for how things stand now with runDisney events. IF there are new races announced for Disneyland, and that's IF, we would then consider what's best for us.

I wish I could commit but I just can't at this point. I want to!

I need to take care of some life things first, which includes saving to buy a house. So Disney may take a back seat for a couple years. No way of knowing right now. But I will always be on team #runICOT no matter where I am!

I have a huge strong to desire to go back in 2015 and do the Dopey. I am going to just keep running and working out and make the final decision a couple weeks before Registration opens up.

It's intoxicating. Darn, you Disney! Another way you've hooked me!

Because of my compulsive collective behavior, I'm gonna have to go for the full marathon. I want to have "done them all" and that's a big one missing from my quest.

As it stands now, I'm in! Cheering for sure but for which race? I've done the 5K, 10K and half...

No spoiler here. It's expected. Prices jumped quite a bit for Disneyland Half.

It's a minor increase this time. I think $5 or $10 for the 10k and maybe $20 for the half.

Things being what they are right now, I think we are out for next year. Of course, everything can always change, but as the Magic 8 Ball would say, "Outlook Not So Good."

I would love to do the Dopey again (she says after a month of recovery), however, my bank account says that I cannot. Unless something changes, we're going to have to wait a few years before going back.

I already put my vacation bid in for the week of the marathon weekend and the next week. I am going to try and do the 10K and Dawn is going to do the 5K. That's our plans as of now at least. I'm sure Melanie will keep us updated when the races go on sale.
