Fast pass+ for Wishes??

I'm confused... I thought you just watch the fireworks from any where you happen to be or Is there a special viewing area that I'm missing??

What about Illumination or the show at DHS cant remember the name of that show

My understanding is that Disney has created reserved viewing areas that you can access with your FastPass+ reservation. I don't know that the reserved area is any better than what everyone else can access, but it gives you the benefit of not having to get there so early if the park is very crowded. For example, when Epcot is very busy folks start standing in prime areas an hour before Illuminations.

People have reported the Wishes viewing area in on a grassy area somewhat off center of the castle. Not the best spot, but not crowded at all.
The Fantasmic FP+ is absolutely worthless. There is no special section and you still wait in line. Again, totally worthless.
Haven't heard good or bad about Illuminations.
