Disney Gift Cards

We will be in WDW in February. I'm wanted to get my children a Disney gift card for Christmas to cover their souvenirs and maybe some snacks. If I order gift cards off the Disney Store website are they good at most merchandise locations and snack locations throughout Disney World? The website says select locations, so it wasn't clear to me. I don't want to buy cards that can only be used a few locations and be bound to shop there. Thanks.

Disney gift cards can be used almost anywhere on property. I think there might be a few of the small kiosks that don't take it, but even those I thought had upgraded. At any rate, you shouldn't be limited on being able to use the gift cards.

My daughter was even able to use her gift card to buy a balloon on Main Street.

Just an FYI, Walgreen's has Disney Gift cards if you would prefer to buy them that way.

Thanks so much for the replies. We don't have Walgreen's in our area, but I saw I could order them on the disney store website and they would ship them for free.

I had one made with my own picture....great idea if you are getting a few...got them from Disney store on line!

I was told you could use them at any WDW location that takes credit cards.
