I took a fishing excursion a few years back and we were on the water near the American Expierience around 7am. There were dozens of Disney employs everywhere doing all sorts of maintenance. It was kind of neat...but we didn't get any fish. :-(

We once were there very late due to dinner and almost got trapped in actually lol. Putting up the bridges and noticed us! Pretty crazy but cool at the same time.

Have you thought about renting DVC points? Works for us!

Not to brag...OK, yeah, I am! We decided to splurge this trip. Our two oldest kids haven't been with us to WDW in years (we usually go during the school year), and this year, we're going early (late August) because our schools have pushed back the first day of school until after Labor Day. Since we think that this will be the last time that we will be able to go as an entire family for a long time, and we saved so much money with the DVC annual pass discount last year, AND because it's gonna be so hot, we're booked for a week at Beach Club! Can't wait to be able to head over to the France Pavilion for breakfast! SO EXCITED for Beach Club! TEN DAYS!

Next up - January 2023 short trip! We just want to try that 50th Anniversary chocolate monstrosity at Mexico!

One of my Home Resorts with DVC is the Boardwalk.
There is nothing better then going through the International Gateway at park opening. There are no crowds and it is a peaceful walk to FutureWorld. Since my Dad uses an ECV, it is easier for him to navigate with no one around. actually if I stay at anything other than an Epcot resort, I miss going into Epcot "Through the Back Door".

this is fabulous news!!! I am going to be at the BWV for the first time in 34 days (split stay w/ BLT)!!! I love all the "secrets" of coming in through the International Gateway!

We will get in on Friday afternoon and will be practically running to International Gateway to pick up our DVC annual passes and TIW card. This is going to be excellent!

I'm kinda more excited to stay at the BWV than at BLT!!! But, each has its own special appeal. Off to google some pictures of the gateway and boardwalk again!!!
