    Default Which week is better??

We have a trip planned Dec. 6-14th and of course our dates are blacked out for free dining. We are thinking of changing it to Nov. 15-23 which would save us $1800. Problem being we already bought MVMCP tickets...can we exchange them? Also, we have all of our ressies made and would have to take the risk of not getting what we want if we switch. I'm wondering if it will be not as busy without free dining avail. during the dec. week because people will want to go the free dining weeks. Help!

I'm in a similar situation and wondering whether to switch weeks, too -- but, like you, if we switch we lose our dining reservations and I'm finding that there is limited availability for rooms. We miss the free dining offer for October by two days because of some blocked out dates. It ends Oct 2 and our vacation starts Oct. 4. Keep us posted on what you do.

ADR's I can't help, but call Magical Journeys to see about room availability. There are no refunds for MVMCP, but perhaps they would exchange tickets...try...

Mickey's tickets are non-refundable. On one occasion, we were able to exchange the tickets for a different (non sold-out date) because I had come down with a miserable cold on the day we had scheduled.

Do you have any sort of room discount for the stay you have already booked? Are you sure that you would save the amount of money you quote by switching weeks? I've found that a room discount and paying out of pocket is less expensive that the free dining with which you pay full rack rate for your room and also need to purchase some tickets you may not need.

Hi Jennifer - we have thought the same in years past but this year we just took advantage of the hotel discounts for the same period which is good for us (had free dining before and never used them all).

Faline is correct and such a move would cut into any "profit" you may realize so consider that. We always seem to talk ourselves out of it as well as the Christmas decorations are up and the low crowds... Hey it is Disney so you will win either way!

After lots of reading about Pop Warner and stuff, we decided to just keep the week we have booked. Too much to try to switch everything. Thanks!
