Souvenir Map (1981)

[Canuck Park Hopper]

Wow! I just found this old souvenir type wall map that I bought during my first visit to WDW back in 1981 (Xmas)....

It was on my bedroom wall for a few years, but then got packed up and put away (thanks Mom!) for the better part of a quarter century.

Here are a few photos of the map - showing the park as it was back then. Yes, it worn a bit and has some wear marks on the corners and back from the Scotch tape, but other than that, it seems to have survived rather well!

Wow. This is a timely post. We just had our 1968 Disneyland map framed two weeks ago.

Not just "That's cool", but, "That's VERY cool!"

I *loved* those old park maps, and the ones previous to this version.

The ones you get today at the parks aren't "frame-worthy" like these, but the ones can get from Disney's Theme Park Planning Web site are definitely great.
