Default Be Our Guest dinner wait

I was lucky to get dinner reservations for BOG for may 25th. How long is the typical wait for dinner if you have reservations?

Check in 15 min before you reservation time and you'll be seated, most likely, within 5 min of your time.

It could depend on the number in your party. We were a group of 9 and we checked it 15 minutes ahead of ADR time and weren't seated until 40 minutes after the ADR time.

I walked up 30 minutes prior to our reservation on Valentine's Day (for 2) and walked right in and was sat. I would imagine as in all restaurants (in WDW and not) the larger the party size the longer the wait since you'll have to wait for the large party table that is previously occupied to leave and get reset or wait for tables nearby to empty so they can push them together.

Booked our Saturday night reservation for 7:05PM 180 days out to ensure we got the slot we wanted.

Checked in at 6:45PM and was given a pager; we were called for seating at 7:05PM on the dot.

The Greeter meets the dining party in the courtyard and party enters through the closed wooden doors into the entry hall of the castle, which magically open for you.

NOTE: There is a cast member at the gated entry to the courtyard and you are not allowed to enter that area unless you have a pager, which you get from the check in station on the otherside of the drawbridge.

Many people approached this cast member and asked to take snaps of the interior countyard and were politely turned away.

Our party was seated in the "West Wing", the smaller of the two dining rooms used for dinner. There are a total of 3 dining rooms in the castle but the third is used for lunch only.

In the West Wing you get a darker mood, thunder and lightening and "the Rose". The room is dark and the menu can be hard to read. The Servers have flashlights to assist.

The central dining room is the ballroom; much larger and noiser. The Beast is on site and upon completion of your meal, there is a queue for photos.

As of the food, it was OK but nothing to write home about in my opinion. The cost for 4, appetizer, entree and dessert, 3 iced teas and one (1) glass of wine was a bit over $200 including tip.
