Pin Code?

Does any one know if Disney has ever honored an expired pin code. We had a pin code and were not able to afford a trip at that time. However, my grandmother passed away at age 92 God bless her and she left my siblings and I money to go to Disney and celebrate her life. The new summer deal does not work for us due to children's summer jobs so we are looking to get best deal we can. Thanks for any answers!
