Room only reservation question

Okay, so it's been awhile since I have booked a room only reservation. For the past few years, I have booked vacation packages. Is it still true that you just have to put down a deposit of one night's stay, and then pay the balance due upon arrival? Or does the room only reservation adhere to the 45 day-out mark now too?

Yes, it's still true. You pay the deposit of one night's stay within a week of booking (as long as it is not within 30 days of travel), and the rest of the payment is due at check-in.
