    Default Easter week

Hi, we are going on DCL aboard the FANTASY for Easter. We board on the Saturday Easter weekend. We plan on doing 4 days at WDW prior which means we are there from Tuesday-Friday (good Friday).
I'm fully aware it will be super busy. Level 10 busy....but I have never been there when it is that busy.
Tips? We realize we won't see everything, but will it be "full to capacity" busy?

On deck, you scabrous dogs! Man the braces! Let down and haul to run free. Now...bring me that horizon

I have not personally experienced that time of year but have been during other very busy periods such as Presidents' Day week and Christmas week. Tips? Arrive early at the park; do your must dos. If you want to stay in the park, concentrateon the less crowded attractions and shows. Try hopping to another park if your tickets allow - Epcot tends to handle crowds better than the other parks.

Get there at least 30 minutes before gate opening. Hit the things you have to by 11AM and then call it a day. For me, I cannot handle crowds like that. The reason is it is no longer a vacation. If my choices were to only go over the busiest times of year or never go, I would choose never go. That sounds like blasphemy, but the stress levels runeth over at that point.

I noticed that on the calander for MK the week before Easter has later hours than the week after Easter..Does that mean they expect it to be busier the week before Easter or are the crowds about the same?

The week leading up to Easter is the week that is extremely crowded. That is Holy Week and many schools take a break that week. The week after Easter is crowded, but not as bad.

We have been at WDW the days leading up to Easter in the past. When we went, MK closed to capacity (I want to say by 11or 12). Like a PP said, get there early, do your "must do's" and leave the park when it gets to be too much to handle.
I think going in with the right frame of mind(knowing it will be very crowded and long lines) helps as well.
