That would have been incredible to see. Wonder if it was an intentional route, or just coincidence since WDW is so close to Cape Canaveral.

That is way too cool! Thanks for sharing the link.

Flew over my house too for the last time. I will miss the launches for sure but have some very wonderful pictures to remember the shuttle launches by. So very sad they cut that program.

WOW! That was SO COOL!!
I'll never forget one night watching the shuttle and space station orbit the earth -- we live near a large parking lot and the night was incredibly clear -- we actually saw the light from the shuttle and then the space station. Awe-inspiring.
If I had seen that shuttle flyover in person I would have been the nerd jumping up and down, screeching and pointing.
Many visits over 35+ years!

Thanks for posting. I remember a couple of launches that we could see very well from WDW. The best view we had was from a bridge when we stayed at Dixie Landings back in the mid 90's. I remember how excited everyone got as we were watching. One of those times that made you proud to be an American.
My first home is in Coastal Georgia, 30 feet from the saltwater marsh, and 3.5 hours from WDW!My second home is the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort!CR,Poly,GF,BC,BW,WL,AKL,Dolphin,Swan,DL,CSR,POFQ,C BR,POP,AS,Vero.

Wish I could've been there. I was at Epcot once when it took off from Cape Kennedy. I was surprised how bright it was in the night sky from 60 miles away. Incredible.

That would have been really cool to see. I saw a couple of other videos with the shuttle flying past the Hollywood sign and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Sounds like they had a route all planned out.

would have been cool to see, a nice one of a kind memory for you and your family to share.
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow
