Nope...I just don't like when they mess with the classic look of most characters. Give me a smiling princess any day.

Not a fan of these either. I did pick up a few nice princess shirts at the Disney store that weren't traditional but weren't "sassy" either. (And I am not usually a "princess" or "Tink" person.)

Hmm. I don't really care for these either. Reminds me of those Minnie shirts they have had at TrenD for awhile now.

Not really crazy about them either.

Cinderella actually looks bored with the shoe, and Aurora looks like she is going to tell someone off. I dont like them at all.

Wow, not a fan at all! Why would they do that to a princess? When I think of a princess and Disney, they are definitely smiling. They're a little scary looking!

If I saw these and if you didn't tell me they were actually Disney merchandise...I would think they were just more of those cheap knock offs from China you see on ebay. Totally unflattering! I would be afraid to let any of the princesses in the park see me wearing it . I'd be afraid they'd be insulted.
-
Personally not a fan of the "bored and too cool to smile" princess look, but I can see my 17 year old daughter liking these and wearing them.
-
It looks like the Princesses are auditioning for a remake of "Mean Girls".
-
Sort of off topic, but I recently got a Halloween costume catalog and was shocked to see that the slutty versions of the Princess costumes were "official" Disney merchandise.

OMG, I noticed that too! I was totally shocked at what constitutes a little girl's Snow White costume. From what I recall, she does not wear a yellow mini skirt...

I'm curious - were they listed as official Disney merchandise, or officially licensed Disney products? I've noticed a lot on the market which is licensed but is not really Disney merchandise. That's what these remind me of - fake knock-offs.

Good question! I don't have the catalog anymore. They were adult costumes. I would hope that even if they were licensed they would have to go through some sort of approval, but maybe not. Nothing says Disney like street walker Snow White.

I'm sure that if these were in something like a Party City catalog or something of that nature that they were just licensed. I work in a store that sells Tervis Tumblers and they are licensed, but Disney has nothing to do with production and/or design.
