Have a dinner reservation at MK at 7:30 but want to stay at Hollywood Studies to see the Osbourne Lights.

I believe there is bus transporation - either to the Ticket & Transportation Center or directly to the Magic Kingdom.

Another option would be to bus to the Poly or the Grand Floridian and take the monorail from there.

All parks have transport to different theme parks. However, if you're walking by Grand Floridian's bus stop and it loading up with just a few people, hop and that and then catch the monorail straight to the gates.

I agree with the above posts on the transportation, but that might be cutting it close. Osborne Lights usually come on at 6. You'd probably want at least 30 min to look at those, then you have to walk back to the front of the park, wait on a bus, do the travel time and still be at your ADR 15 min before your listed time (that's what they ask). So, I think you can make it, but any delays at all and you might not for a 7:30 ADR.

Your going to be cutting it really close if you make the 7:30 ADR at all. My advice ... drive yourself or take a cab.

On a previous visit we had reservations at Victoria and Alberts and were staying at the Boardwalk. Using the transportation system, there was no way we'd have made it so we opted for a cab and arrived door to door without issue.

Definitely that's cutting it pretty close, but I think your best option (assuming you don't have bad luck and JUST miss a bus pulling out) is to take the GF bus and then monorail. OR...second best would be Contemporary bus, and walk.

Assuming you are counting on WDW transportation, defeinately bus to compemtporary resort then walk to MK.

Also, you should know that ADR's are automatically held for 30 minutes past their time.

If you're in a rush, I'd take a cab to minimize the chance of delays.

Are you sure it's still that long? I thought when they made all the changes (like implementing the CC holds on certain popular places) they went to only a 15 min hold on the ADRs.

If we were making this trip, we'd catch a bus from DHS to Contemporary, and then walk to the MK entrance. It's a flat, simple 10-minute walk to MK, and it's one less change of transportation you'll need to make to get there.
