I will have to look it up. I've seen ads, but can't figure out much about it. Wes Anderson, right?

Not sure about Wes Anderson but it is very good. Probably better to go see it without knowing too much about it but I wouldn't take kids younger than 16 to see it even though the kids starring in it are middle school age. I really enjoyed it, enough I will purchase it on DVD to watch again and again.

My son just said to me hours ago when the commerical came on for that movie..."I can't figure out what it is about, it looks weird".

To me it didn't look funny like they said in the commercial either. I guess I shouldn't judge movies by the promos.

It has funny moments and shocking moments and the girl is not very stable but it is a sweet story in some ways. I really don't know how to describe it but as a person that grew up in the 60's and spent a lot of time involved in Girl Scouts and camp and backpacking I found it very amusing. But an animal is killed, which shocked me ( didn't see that one coming) and a child is attacked by another and the kids are in some very serious situations. And it is very sexual for two middle school age kids

The ending is especially satisfying I thought and cant wait to hear a review from anyone else that sees it.

Just saw another ad. It is a Wes Anderson film. He's a bit on the weird/quirky/offbeat side, often pairs with Owen Wilson. His movies include The Royal Tenenbaums (Oscar nominated for original screenplay, with Owen Wilson co-writing), Rushmore, The Life Aquatic, Darjeeling Limited, and The Fantastic Mr. Fox.

It's a wonderful, magical, fantastical film. But, sadly, it's probably not for everybody.

Probably my second favorite movie in the world!! The first being Titanic, then Moonrise Kingdom. I enjoyed the original plot (not to mention my boyfriend is a Boy Scout, hehe) and I thought it was hilarious when he got struck by lightening
