I tip a flat $5 a day (there are 4 of us). I also don't always have cleaning done every day.

This is entirely up to personal discretion. Many will argue that housekeeping at Disney resorts is not a tipped position. We do tip our housekeepers, though, as we tip housekeepers anywhere else we travel. I don't think they could possibly be paid enough, and I appreciate the service, so I tip.
We usually tip about $5 a day regardless of the number of guests per room. But if we have turndown service, we'll tip two dollars in the evenings as well as the $5 to the daytime housekeeper. And we do it per day/evening instead of saving up until the end because we don't always get the same housekeeper every day. But you could do it any way you choose, a dollar or two, or more or less.

For the 2 of us $2 or $3 a day. We are EXTREMELY clean so they don't have to do lots in our room

Same here. Although one year I finally gave in and decided to tip. We left $5 per day. The funny thing was, that was the worst service of anytime we ever stayed there! One night we came back and the room was not made up (and we were gone ALL DAY and late into the night!). Another night there was a bag FULL of garbage left ON THE BED!! So, I decided I'm not tipping anymore.
I know, I shouldn't punish ALL of Mousekeeping due to this one Mouskeeper but we have gone back several times after that trip and our rooms were perfect every time we came back for the night.

I tip $1 per day. I usually clean up before I leave in the morning so all they have to do is leave clean towels, TP, and make the bed. I noticed last time they did not always take the money.
