Default Fitting in legoland attractions in short time?

Since Legoland is open for a short day, and from looking at the web site there looks to be so much to do, has anyone had trouble fitting in what they want to do in a single day?

We went last month on a Saturday. We arrived a few minutes after the park opened and left prior to it closing. While we didn't ride on every attraction, we definitely did everything that we wanted to without a problem. We found that the lines moved quickly. I was surprised at their requirement to leave your bags/cameras in an open cubby type storage system while riding some of the rides. There was no mention of this until we were boarding the attraction so I chose not to skip the ride and hold everyone's items. While I was waiting I noticed many others were shocked about the requirement and also had a member of their party skip the ride.

That is crazy! I hope they get their act together and come up with something more secure.

We had no trouble doing it all in a single day. Be there at open and hit the slow-loading/low capacity rides first (the ones that come to mind are the safari, and the spinning water one). Also, be warned that the food choices in the park are very minimal. We were pretty disappointed and hungry on our day there.
