    Question New Disney Junior Network

So I've been reading about the new Disney Junior network Disney is debuting this March and it seems like the plan is to bring back some of the classic Playhouse Disney shows. Specifically, I saw Rolie Polie Olie mentioned, but the stories also hinted that there would be others.

Has anyone found a list anywhere of any of the other old shows that are coming back? I've got my fingers crossed hoping they bring back some of my ... err ... my kids favorites, like PB&J Otter, JoJo's Circus, Stanley, Koala Brothers, etc.

I'd really love for DS5 and DD's1 to get a chance to see some of the shows my oldest DD9 loved when she was little!

The specific shows I have seen mentioned are Rolie Polie Olie and Higglytown Heroes.(Can't you just hear that song?) But they are promising "others" as well.

I confess that I am also nostalgic for those older programs-- although when my DD9 was young, she spent more time watching Dora on (gasp) Nick Jr. than Playhouse Disney shows. Personally I hope Stanley comes back, but it may seem a bit dated now that Google has replaced the "Great Big Book of Everything."

Me too I loved that show and tried in vain to get my neice and nephew interested in it but alas they preferred Balamory and In the night garden (BBC kids shows).

Oh man!! How cool would this be?! I really hope they go through with it, and more importantly, that my local cable provider offers it!

Not that too many people seemed interested, but I found this little nugget on the Disney Junior Wikipedia page:

On June 17, 2011, it has been comfirmed that the Disney Junior channel will include "old-school" Playhouse Disney series in its lineup when the channel launches. Only five "old-school" Playhouse Disney series have been announced, as of January 9, 2012: Stanley, JoJo's Circus, Rolie Polie Olie, The Koala Brothers and Higglytown Heroes.
I'm really excited about Koala Brothers .. I love that show!!

They were already phasing out Koala Brothers when my son started watching so I am not as familiar with that one, but my son loved Rolie Polie Olie and I'd like for my daughter to see some of the old shows.

Unfortunately right now the site says Directv in my area is not carrying it. Apparently we get to keep SOAPNet.

Apparently if they can't come to terms, SOAPNet will stay on for awhile and then I guess we will have nothing. I can't believe Directv isn't going to sign up. They carry all the Disney channels and both Brighthouse and Verizon are carrying it in my area.
