Kidani or Jambo

thinking about staying at Animal Kingdom Villas. what are some differences (good or bad) between Jambo House and Kidani Village???

Kidani is the first bus stop for most destinations. Makes a huge difference during busy times of the year.

No counterservice, so lots of walking to Jambo for a quick bite (you could take the bus, but honestly it's faster to walk).

From what I understand the 1&2 bedroom villas at Kidani have an extra bathroom and are larger. I like Jambo better but do not want to give up the extra bathroom so we booked Kadani for Oct 2012.

We have stayed at both and prefer Kidani.

While the lobby is smaller and there is not quick service at Kidani for meals, we also find that makes it feel quieter and more relaxing. Less of a hustle and bustle. Jambo is a short walk from Kidani if you want to grab a quick service meal so it wasn't a problem for us. Besides, when you have a kitchen it's easy to make your own breakfasts or lunches for cheaper.

The pool at Kidani is much better in my opinion. I find that it doesn't get as crowded and the splash pad area is loved by the kids.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa last January and it does have 2 full bathrooms which is nice, so the kids could have their own. At Jambo house the 1 bedrooms do not have 2 bathrooms, we found this a plus for sure.

The buses pick up Kidani first which is very useful when it gets busier, as it ensured us a seat every time, when we went.

So I prefer Kidani, however, obviously Jambo is a great choice too. The lobby there is amazing and you should at least check it out while you are there.
