Is 50 too old for halloween horror nights?
hi,
wife and I are booked to visit disney in september but are considering changing to october mainly to finally go to the horror nights and we love universal.
would we enjoy the horror nights enough to justify changing our trip?

My mom turns 56 this year (Shhh don't let her know I told you), and she goes to Halloween Horror Nights every single year. So I would say 50 definitely isn't to old for it!

And here's the little Skipper now. Oh Shut up Scruffy you're not burned, you just have a healthy glow.

Every year, my husband and I see an old couple (WELL beyond their 50s), and one of them goes through in a wheelchair. The way I look at it, if they can do it, anyone can.
Every year, my husband and I say that they're our goal. We want to be over a decade beyond retirement age and still going through those houses together!

It is all attitude. I met a lady on the airplane home this last trip who said her kids were too old for Disney World, that there is nothing for them to do. Her kids were 12 and 9. They said they liked Expedition Everest, but since they've been on it, it is now boring. Everything else was for little kids. The mom started with the "poor" attitude and the kids followed. I feel bad that they spent $$ on a vacation, they really didn't seem to enjoy it. First trip ever, and she said there's no way they're going back.
So, is 50 too old for HHN? Is 50 too old for Walt Disney World? Is 50 too old for the water slides? I've seen many people way over 50 doing all of these. I say it is attitude and if you think 50 is too old, it is. If you think these are things you want to do at any age, you will always have fun. Just take the right attitude.
