Does anybody know if you can still meet FIgment at Epcot. I saw pictures of him online, but it he is not listed on the Character meet page??

Every time I've gone I have seen the spot to see him, but he was never there. He is one of my favorites, so I'm hoping to meet him this time. Fingers crossed.

They are no longer doing the Figment meet 'n greets. They were suspended a couple of years ago and are not scheduled to be resumed anytime soon. My understanding from a former character attendant friend is that the costume design was causing too many neck problems.

My DD is a HUGE Figment fan, and is sad that they don't have him out for meeting anymore.

Oh well, at least we can go on the ride over and over and over again for our "figgy fix".

DD 16 and I rode it 4 times in a row in January. By the 3rd time, they were seating us without asking how many in our party.

Neck problems eh....yet another reason why they should bring back Dreamfinder and Figment the way it was meant to be.
28 times to WDW and still going since 1984!! Most recent visit: November/December 2011...Far too long since my last visit! :'(

Personally, I believe it didn't start with a mouse. It started with a man that had one of the greatest imaginations in this world.

I had heard froma few Friends of the Characters that the neck problems story was just an excuse and it was just a simple cost cutting measure.

We used to get our pictures with Figment every year, and then all of a sudden he was gone. I really treasure the pictures of the kids we do have from when he was there!
Formerly luvinmesomedisney. Someone in the family turned off my "remember me" button and I forgot ME. Forgot my password so had to use a different name.

That could very well be true and I've often thought that myself. I guess it doesn't really matter what their true reason is, he's gone and there's no word of him coming back.

My DS is so sad about this. I can't believe that he is not more popular. Any idea if there is anywhere to take a picture with a molded Figment the way they have the characters at DTD???
