Default Ice Machines at Pop Value Resort

We are planing on bringing an ice chest with us to the Pop Value Resort. Some hotels/motels ice machine are wimpy and they ususally tend to be on the other end of where one's room is also.

We plan to stay in 70's section. So, whats the ice machine low down at Pop's?

    Thanks!

    Forgot to ask....

How many ice machines are there per building?

Do the ice machines keep up with the demand?

Are the ice machines the ones with the tiny opening and then one has to use something else to ge tthe ice in their ice chest?

I am not sure how many there are per building. I think it is 1 per floor per building. With that many people, it is hard to keep up with demand. Therefore, going at odd times is the best solution. We usually fill up first thing in the morning (~6AM) and have never had a problem.

They are the standard small opening ice machines that you have to use a bucket. You can be creative and construct your own little ramp that can continuously fill a cooler. I have used the laminated thing on the table to do it.

the ice machines are centrally located near the elevators.there the type you use a small bucket to set under the opening then push the funnel .weve never had a problem keeping ice in our cooler but i dont know how big your cooler is.there is a sign that says no filling ice chest so you might have to make a few trips.our cooler holds ice for 3 days and we fill it up from home with our ice .the last trip (july)we used a couple of 2 litre coke bottles and some smaller ones . we filled them with water and froze them they worked great plus as they thaw we have some good water to drink.
