 Pool movies at Value
I have stayed at the Sports, Music, and POP...periodically i have come back to my room and seen a movie playing at the pool, but never seen it advertised...how do you know that one is beig shown?
Have A Magical Day-1970-1989-offsite, 2002-DLR, 2003-DLR, 2005-Sports, 2007-All Music, 2008-POP, December 12-21 2009-Pop, January 16-18, 2010-Disneyland. Disney Sports-Feb 1-6, 2012, Disneyland-December 7 and 8, 2012, DIsney Pop-Feb 1-5, 2013 (my son's first trip.)

Pool Movies
Last visit to All Star Music, Movies were shown EACH NIGHT by the pool. It was great for those nights you were not spending in a Park. Different Disney Movie each night. Sometimes they allowed the pool crowd to vote on their favorite or sometimes they already had it posted in the pool area. Check with your pool guard crew. They are the ones presenting the movies of the evening.
I'll be watching in 144 days!

We were at the Music in December and they did show movies at night. DH & I commented one night, because it was sooooo cold, how sweet it was for Disney to show the movie with only 2 people watching

I think they should show a movie a couple of times a week at typhoon lagoon's wave cove.
You could hang out in an intertube and float around while watching the movie.
Jaws would be a great first choice!

Am I a huge disney fan? YOU BETCHA! I blame it all on my parents! They are the one's that walked around Disneyland all day to induce labor! Yep, I've been going to Disneyland since the day before I was born!

I always wished they had poolside movies at Pop. It could be at the computer pool & they could convert the big laptop icon's screen into a large screen.

Went April 16-22, stayed at ASMusic. They had a movie by the pool every night. Info was included in our check-in packet. Could also go to one of the other All-Star Resorts to see their movie (each AS Resort showed a different movie each night) if we wanted. Again, the info for who was showing what movie was in our check-in folder.

Same here. I've stayed at All-Star Sports 3 times and never saw anything like this. Is this new, or am I just that oblivious (please let it be the former!)?

the movie is usually at dusk... i've seen them before...but if you're like me and usually stay late at the park, you may have missed them.

Can you go to the movie if your staying at Pop or do you have to be staying at an All Star resort?
