Friends, Fun and flowers travel day

My travel day started out fine. Easy getting to the airport. TSA was a breeze, even though they stopped to admire all our pins.

The flight was uneventful, but the nightmare began when II got off the plane. I was in Orlando, but my scooter was still in Los Angeles. Needless to say, I was beyond words. (Putting it mildly). How can they not load a persons mobility device. Well, United payed to rent a scoter for me and is flying in today and I should have it tonight. That remains t b seen.

Marci, I hope tomorrow brings you your scooter, and some big apologies!! Glad to hear United helped out... how crazy that it got left behind. I hope your trip turns a corner and gets better from here on in!

When I last left off, I was waiting for the scooter. That will be a recurring theme all day and night. More on that later. Now on to better things.

We checked in around 8 am, got our tickets/room key and went to bell services to wait for the rental scooter.
The rental came at 8:30 and we were on our way to Epcot. Straight to Guest Services to get my AP. Here is where some magic began. I was all prepared to get a WDW AP. I really wanted the Premier pass since I would have no out of pocket expenses when turning in my 7 day ph tickets. I was sent to a certain CM that was able to use her magic wand, and poof... I now have the Primer Pass. I was even given a refund of $33.00 on a gift card.

Once in the park, we walked around looking at the topiaries. There are so cool. We started with Capt. EO and then to Test Track. We then started or tour or the countries ending up with Japan . We had lunch at Tokyo Dining where we were seated by the window with a view of the lagoon. LLunch was fant8stic.

I got a text that our friends arrived so we headed back to greet them. They beat us there and we met up at the gift shop. It was great to see them again.

Our room was ready and we were expecting our garden grocer order.

More drama begins.... First our luggage had not magically appeared. It took some searching, but Michael from bell services came through for us and found our luggage and our grocery order.. Between the scooter and misplaced luggage, I was very agitated.

With luggage and groceries put away, we headed back to Epcot. We all took our time heading back to Japan for dinner. Making use of photo pass we took pictures with every photographer we could. We even had a magic shot done.

Dinner was at Teppan Edo. One of our must do's. It was a great way to start out our ADR dining.

After dinner we wound our way throught the crowd waiting for Illuminations and headed back to POFQ. The girls wanted to swim.

While they were at the pool, I tried to track down my scooter. It was already 9:30 and still no scooter. After calling United, they told me it has arrived. It finally came....whoohoo and at 11pm I had my scooter. My nightmare has come to an end.

POFQ Refurb. I posted a review in accommodations.... but the room looked great.

Only had a toilet issue to deal with on arrival and maintainence magically appreared and lookd at it. It finally flushedbefore he got there. No more problems with the bathroom after that.
