    Smile I need your thoughts

On our last trip to WDW in December I bought my lady friend some Minnie ears with the princess veil.

I told her when we make our trip this coming Sept that she should wear them in the parks.

She thinks that everyone will think that she is crazy and call the men in the white coats to take her away.

So!! Should she wear them or not.

    Your thought would be appreciated.

There are some great new mouse ear hats out, popcorn, melted Mickey bar, birthday hats, all in adult sizes ... so, it means (according to me) that ear hats are meant to be worn by all, enjoyed by all.

I would say wear them , but don't pressure her, once she gets there, the power of the Mickey Ear will take over!

Absolutely she should wear them. It's the one place you can go and be a kid! No one will look at her twice.

Yes, she should wear them. I guess if she doesn't want to...you'll just have to understand. But if she is willing to trust you that she won't stand out and it's all about being a kid no matter what your age...then maybe she will give it a try. Plus you can wear yours and then she'll feel weird to be with the guy wearing Mickey ears and she's not!

I wear my Minnie ears, my Disney earrings and carry my Minnie purse every day that we're there. But, you can't force her. Just bring them. She'll see other adult women doing it and will feel more comfortable.

I always have to pick up a new, different set of ears on my first day there and then wear them the entire trip. My mom (50's) and sister (22) wear them too.

Get her to bring them with her to the parks and then when she see's all the other people wearing them she might be more willing to put them on but as others have said don't force her.
I have a pair of tigger ears that I wear in the parks and sometimes when I am doing housework

Encourage her to bring them but you can't force her to wear them. Once she gets there and sees people of all ages wearing them, she might change her mind.
On a trip a few years ago my two DD's, myself, my mom, and an aunt in her 60's all wore Disney hats.

You'll see all kinds of different people wearing the various Mickey ears and other hats. No one is going to think she's crazy.

Our son bought a Pluto hat (the one wear the brim looks like Pluto's snout) and wore it. He liked it so much he got the matching t-shirt. And at 10 he certainly wasn't the oldest person in the parks wearing that particular hat. I saw several adults sporting the same hat.

Go ahead and don the ears, she'll fit right in!

We are in our 60's and wear Disney hats.we have also made Disney shirts for Halloween visits and mens white shirts decorated for the year of a million dreams. Everyone asked us where to buy these shirts. We had a lot of fun and met fun people.
