refurb at the Poly?

Hi everyone:

I recently read something about the Poly refurbishing rooms in the Hawaii bldg. Is this true? If so, what are they changing, and have they moved the lounge to another building during the refurb? Does anyone know when the refurb is expected to be completed? We are staying CL there December 18-23rd and would really love for the Hawaii building to be "in service" during our visit.

I had read that too before we went two weeks ago. However, nothing going on when we were there and talking to one manager, nothing planned. Must have been an old report rehashed by someone. We were in CL by the way.

The last major rennovation to the Polynesian was completed in 2006. Club level was removed from the Tahiti Building and moved exclusively to the Hawaii building. During the rennovation, Hawaii was fitted with a lobby lounge concierge room with a great view of the fireworks at the MK. I think you should be good to go.
