Question Do I need a Pack?

First let me start by saying it's just me and DH going. We will be at WDW December 10-15. We have the free dining. Staying at Pop Century. Will be visiting one park per day.
Only been one other time and it was really hot and no free dining...so we carried water, sanitizer, snacks, small personal fans...etc. So should i still carry some kind of pack with me ? What would i need and what kind of pack do you use...we used fanny packs last time.

It can still be warm at times in December, but nowhere near needing a mister fan. You would need something to carry your Key To The World card, but that's about it. Not carrying a pack of any kind would allow you to skip that line. The only reason you would need one is if you still want to carry snacks or water with you or need something to carry a camera.

We tend to keep roomkeys, FPs, and a credit card in one of the waterproof card cases on a cord that they sell in the waterparks. I usually wear it because I don't do coasters.

In addition, I always carry something small that leaves my hands free - just enough room for hand sanitizer, band-aids, a tiny hairbrush, asthma inhaler and sunscreen. DH offers his pockets, but sometimes stuff gets squashed that way.

Usually it's a beltpack, but DDs have deemed that "dorky" so next time I'll try a tiny bag with a strap that's long enough to go diagonally across my chest. Hope it works!

We are three adults and we have been in the August heat and the January 2010 freeze; I carry a fanny pack and they put their stuff in it too....takes care of everything for us.

We go the "take nothing into the parks" route.

Well, I other than our camera, a small bottle of hand sanitizer, and some benedryl tablets, we don't take anything with us.

Especially with the DDP, we don't find we need much to get through a day, and it is so nice skipping the security lines, and not having to worry about fitting it on a ride, or leaving it behind.

I use a small cross body bag. It holds everything I need, money, credit/room cards, cell phone, glasses(mine & DH). I also hang our umbrellas from the straps.

I may be "old school" but I still like my fanny pack. Easy access, light weight, and goes thru security checks easily. We "travel light" to the parks. Key card, a little $, a personel fan, a portable rain poncho, and my camcorder/camera. Staying on property really helps in this area. Not necessary to carry as much stuff w/you.

I'll second the small crossbody purse/bag.
Pack bandaids, room card, atm card, id, maybe a small umbrella (depending on the forecast), camera and phone.

I've also carried a small back pack that we have our Disney pins attached to--it's a cute pink one.

Hi! If it is just DH and I we try to go as light as possible.

We both have the pouches on our pin lanyard so that's were our KTTW cards, ID's, Credit Card and Cash go. I carry some chap stick in my pocket, our camera pouch has a place to put your belt through so DH wears that and he usually wears cargo shorts with lots of pockets for anything other, we carry our cells in our pockets and we are good to go. It may still be warm in December (I'm just going off what I have read) but, it hopefully won't be super steamy like August, so you wouldn't need fans.

If you need to carry more stuff try a waist pack or a cross body purse that should do it.

    Have fun!
