Pooh closing for refurb in Oct/Nov

I didn't see any announcement on this, but this morning I was checking the WDW official calendar this morning and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh will be closed for refurbishment October 25-November 14, 2010. Just a heads up for those of you headed down then. I guess they have to close it up to finish off the work that's been going on around the outside.

that stinks!! we love that ride, especially with a 2 and 4 year old. any chance it opens up a little early? we are there 11/6-11/14. even 1 day early would be great.

It's possible, but it's pretty rare that they re-open early. Usually they are on a very tight timetable and need every second. However, I have seen early openings happen, however rare it might be, so here's some that it'll happen for you!

It should be open by the time we go. It's an enjoyable ride so I'd like to be able to take it in if we're able to.

Awwww, man! That's when we will be there, and DS3 loves Pooh. Well, I guess we'll just have to make sure we have a meal at CP.

Whew...I saw Oct and was worried! That's one of my family's favorites. Thank goodness I dedcided on beginning of October instead of the end! Sorry to all of you who are missing it.

Whoa! Thank goodness it will be re-opened when we arrive on 11/27!!!

DS2 is autistic and one of his favorite things to do is to watch little videos on my laptop. He LOVES the Winnie the Pooh ride videos on YouTube. BTW-thanks to all of you good people who post your videos. He was humming theme songs the other day, so I suspect he will soon hum the WTP song (DS doesn't speak yet-so this is really big!).

Well DH's cousin (27) is going to be devistated! Pooh is her favorite character and she LOVES the ride! Good thing I have reservations at Crystal Palace so she can get a little face time with Pooh!
