Our Wonderful 11 Day Trip to the World - Day 3

Day 3 - arrived at Animal Kingdom at 7:45 - it was already open!!!! Walked straight to EE and rode 2 times - no waits. Then we headed over to the Safari and rode - love this attraction!! Saw so many animals, more than anytime in the past. Our driver was great, stopped frequently to point out various animals and provided us with great picture taking opportunities. Then headed for KRR which was down Got fast passes and headed for TTBAB - DDF screamed through the whole thing while the rest of us laughed our butts off. Then saw the Lion King Show - almost makes me cry when I see this show - so beautiful!!! We then went on Dinosaur - scary as always!!! Had lunch and then rode KRR - DH got soaked but he didn't care - it was sooooooooo hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so hot all week, I think I lost 10 pounds just from sweating (or, as my daughter's fourth grade teacher would say, women don't sweat, they glow). Yeah, right, I was like a water faucet and believe me, I wasn't glowing - LOL. We then headed back to FQ where we spent the rest of the day and evening at the pool. I think the no sleep the day before arrival had caught up with us along with getting up so early. Next up - early entry EPCOT

Sounds like everyone is having a great time...it is always a lot of fun sharing the Disney experience with someone who has never been before.

Sounds like you guys are having a blast, and getting alot done with those early entry days! We were going to attempt to do that on our trip, but we never got out of the room much before 930!

Glowing, huh? I'll have to remember that one! Thank goodness Kali came back online for you. We found that Kali's "super-soaker" explosion after going up the first ramp really helped keep us all cool. Ha, I think DS's reaction was similar to DDF's his first trip at ITTBAB. What a crack-up!

Yep, I agree - with these hot days, pool time is a necessary thing, not an option! I hope that everyone gets a good night's rest & you're ready to tackle Epcot in the morning. Thanks for sharing another great day!
