Default Our Wonderful 11 Day Trip to the World - Day 2

Day 2 (July 16) - arrived at HS around 7:45 a.m. Headed straight for RRRR while DH headed for SSM for fast passes. Rode RRRR with the girls and just got off when DH arrived. We got back in line and rode again with him. Then headed over to TOT and rode and then made our way to GMR, then Mermaid, then rode TSM. That was our longest wait - 5 minutes - with the fastpasses. We then went to the Backlot Tour, saw the Muppets movie and then on Star Tours. It was then time for a 11:50 a.m. ADR at PrimeTime. Our "cousin Paula" was wonderful. You should have seen the face on DDF when Paula threw the plates and silverware at her and told her to set the table - priceless!!!! After lunch, we headed back to the FQ for an afternoon of swimming and sunning (the girls wanted to work on their tans - LOL.
Friday night - headed over the Epcot - rode SE which DD loves and then strolled around the countries stopping to watch the Bon Jovi concert. Left before Illuminations began - didnt want DDF to see anything, we planned to be back another night to see the show. Went swimming and then to bed. Next up - early entry - Animal Kingdom.

How the heck did u manage to get all that done in one morning! We were there overlapping your trip. We arrived 7/19-7/24 and we had horrible lines without the fastpasses and sometimes even bypassed rides all together. And the crowds, oh the crowds, lol! But we had a great time despite it. So, congrats on a productive day at HS! Can't wait to read more!

Hi - we used early morning entry to all the parks and never had to wait in line - I guess most people don't like to get up early while on vacation (trust me - it was a real chore trying to wake 2 16 year olds up at 6:30 a.m. LOL)

It's really worth it to get to the parks early during the hot summer months! Sounds like a really nice day!

What a great day of thrill rides and Rock & Roll! Yep, I bet DDF was trying to figure out WHAT in the world was going on at 50's - priceless!

We found that morning EMH crowds at DHS were fabulous - MK was open for evening EMH the nights before, and you're right - crowds were surprisingly low in the mornings.

We've seen the Bon Jovi tribute group before & really enjoyed them. Looking forward to DDF's reaction to Illuminations. What a wonderful day of fun. Thanks for sharing!
