Default upgading ticket to Annual pass

I have a 4 day park hopper pass with no expiration. Does anyone know what the value would be if I upgraded to a annual pass?

Ununsed? Then whatever you paid for it I think.

Used? None if it's past 14 days from when it was first used, it can't be upgraded. If it's within the 14 days, then you'll get current value of a 4 day no expiration ticket towards the upgrade, but 365 days from the first day you used the 4 day ticket.

Ok, I guess I should've gave more info. Last October in Disney, I had a 10 day park hopper pass. During our stay I added no expiration. I have 4 days left on it. If I buy an AP now will I get anything for it?

A smile and a bill for the whole amount of the AP, maybe not a smile.

You can't do anything with that older ticket, except use it on a future visit. After 14 days from first use, your ability to upgrade vanishes. Also, the cost of the no expiration may not have been worth it. The difference in price between a 10 day and a 6 day ticket is MUCH LESS than the cost of that no-expiration. Save that ticket for when you only need 4 or fewer days (like a nice weekend getaway).

Lesson learned, and Disney got another one! I'm not a fan of the MYW ticket scheme. Many people are spending way more than they need to for tickets.

We're FL residents so maybe that's the exception (I never asked), but my dad had a 3 or 4 day ticket that he upgraded to a season pass about 5mos after he made the purchase. We just went to the ticket window at GUEST SERVICES and asked to upgrade the ticket. We didn't first ask if we could, we just told them that's what we wanted to do. It's worth a shot.

Had the ticket(s) been used? If so, then there is a good possibility that FL residents have an entirely different set of rules for ticketing. If not, there would be no problem as they would still be within the "14-day from first use" rule.

I believe Florida residents have 6 months to upgrade their tickets.

Yes, he had already used 2 of the days.

I've wondered this but I can't find the confirmation anywhere.

This is correct, if it's the special Florida resident ticket to begin with.
