Tower of Terror Refurb?

I read something about a new update at ToT. Can anyone verify/explain it?

If I am not mistaken, the only thing that has changed is the drop sequence. In one instance, when your elevator goes all the way down and you "think" that the ride is over, the ghosts reappear and beckon you back. You then shoot back up and drop some more. It's all totally random though.

not only will there be new drop sequences, but also "enhanced" special effects as well. What that means I can't say. There is also debate as to if these changes will be permanent or for the summer only.

Oh boy! I hope this stays! ToT is always changing and gets better every time!

I would assume they would keep the enhancements as permanent additions. Then they can update the big sign on world drive with a huge #5 button instead of the big #4 button!
