 Surprise at check-in
Hi,
We just got back yesterday from a week at the YC. When we arrived from ME, a cast member asked if we were the "Smith family." That is actually our name. I was surprised, as we were never greeted like that before. She took us to check in (I had checked in online). Someone came from the back with balloons and a certificate and took our picture. They had made us the family of the day, and gave us a room on the concierge level! I was shocked.
It was a great start to a great trip. I hated to leave (as always). The weather was very warm, even hot at times. Luckily, we could cool off each afternoon in Stormalong Bay ( which was amazing, our 1st stay there). The crowds were definitely manageable.
Hard to come home, especially to weather in the 40's. I am off now to do some more laundry.
