    Default Food Delivery?

Does anyone know if any of the local supermarkets/Wal-Marts/etc. will deliver food and other necessitites to the resorts? We are DVC members and while they have a shopping service it is limited and $$$. Thanks.

I have never used this service myself. However from other posts I have seen Costco is used often for bottled water. Garden Grocer for grocery items and WeGoShop are some of the common places to use.

I looked at Garden Grocer last night and most of the items I have been buying for our trip are about 30% higher (at least from where I live and what I can purchase them for). GG charges $12 for delivery and Free for $200 orders and above.

    Hope this helps.

When we fly and don't have our own car we use WeGoShop.
They will shop at whatever store you request.
You pay the store price for the items you have them buy + a delivery charge.
It has worked out quite well for us, they always deliver right on time and call if an item we requested isn't available in the size, quantity we ordered.

We always pick-up a couple cases of water and the savings on that alone more than makes up for the delivery charge.

I understand Goodings will also deliver. If you use Quicksilver, they will provide you with a free grocery stop on your way to your resort.

I second WeGoShop. They were excellent in January and you get to pick exactly the groceries you want.

As always- appreciate the advice- don't know what I'd do without Intercot!
I'm assuming a "Wegoshop" google search will start me in the right direction...

We have used Garden Grocer quite a few times and have been very satisfied. I find their prices to be similar to NJ. If you are interested in beer or wine, you can call them after placing your order or add it in remarks.
