Default Just booked October for tent camping!

I am so excited! We love to tent camp but haven't done more than 2 nights with the kids-yet.

I booked 4 nights in October. We are going to use our GAD tickets and do MNSSHP and do one other park day.

FW looks like tons of fun and is a great location!

Our first camping trip to Fort Wilderness was in the month of October. It's an ideal time to camp! Enjoy!

    Sounds like FUN!

I wish lived close enough to have the time to do other things, but we don't...so we spend all available time in the parks I understand FW has all kinds of activities...enjoy.

The activities look like so much fun. We are calling this our adventure trip. Driving down from NC and having a relaxed camping vacation. We aren't doing a meal plan or any ADR. I am pretty sure we will be partaking in the EPCOT food and wine festival-hopefully enjoying MNSSHP and either having another park day or maybe not. We were at Disney last April for spring break and were not able to do lots of the things we planned-due to my overplanning and to the HUGE crowds.

I am so jealous! We can really only get there once a year but then the trip is for quite a few more days than I'd like to spend in a tent. Not to mention it's usually the height of the summer as well due to DD & DS school schedule. I would love to live close enough to plan a 3 or 4 day long weekend tent camp trip. Enjoy!!

You dont really spend your days in the tent. We camped for 9 nights last year and were quite happy at Fort Wilderness. We bring our house slippers and robes and that makes things a lot more comfortable. I love the option of fort wilderness bc this DOES allow for more than 1 trip a year. If you get annual passholders then you can take your first trip camping for 10 days, and then 6-9mths later turn around and use your passholder rate to stay deluxe on a really great discount.

I've always wondered if you could tent camp at FW, I am so glad that you posted this. We are considering a trip in Oct, to stay between 8-10 days, and may consider this as an option. I have been unable to find the pricing for this. Can you direct me? Have fun on your trip!!
